Transportation Check Program

The Transportation Check Program is a system designed to assist people with disabilities in meeting their transportation needs. Eligible participants use assigned checks for the payment of fees or reimbursement of mileage to transportation providers.

The Transportation provider then submits the check to Wyoming Independent Living, Inc. (WIL) for reimbursement. tc1

An eligible participant can use the checks in a variety of ways, including defraying the costs of a ride provided by a friend, co-worker, neighbor, volunteer or a public provider. Participants may also share strategies and resources with each other and through support groups.

Participants in the Transportation Check Program are responsible for organizing and securing the rides they need.
